Ergonoma

Dirk Delaruelle represented FEES on the 2nd European Tradeshow on Workplace and Work situations Ergonomics (Ergonoma), which took place at Espace Rogier Brussels, April 7-9, 2004.

FEES was invited by the organisers to participate in the exhibition, together with other ergonomics-related organisations like CREE (Centre for Registration of European Ergonomists), ARTEE (Association pour la Reconnaissance du Titre d’Ergonome Européen), BAREE (Belgian Association for Registration of European Ergonomists), BES (Belgian Ergonomics Society), and AEE (Asocioción Española de Ergonomía).

This invitation was estimated as a good opportunity to introduce FEES to a wider audience, on the background that a scientific conference was organised during the trade market and that more than 3.000 people attended Ergonoma.

From the people attending the event, 68% (2,146) came from Belgium. The 1,015 other visitors came from 27 countries: Algeria, Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, Columbia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Morocco, Netherlands, Nigeria, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Senegal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and United States. 64% of the visitors were users, 28% suppliers.

The organizers decided to keep Brussels as the host city for the next Ergonoma event in 2005.
